A group of people went hunting in the mountains. One of the hunters accidentally fell into a deep pit. His right arm and both legs were broken, leaving only his left arm intact.
The pit was extremely deep and steep, and the people above were helpless. Fortunately, some grass grew on the walls of the pit. Using his left hand to brace against the wall and gripping the grass with his mouth, the hunter slowly began to climb upward. At first, those on the surface, seeing only dim light, couldn't clearly make out what was happening in the pit and could only shout words of encouragement. But when they finally saw him in such a precarious situation—climbing with his mouth clamped onto small blades of grass—they couldn't help but start commenting.
"Oh no! There's no way he can make it up like that!"
"What terrible luck—he's broken both arms and legs!"
"Exactly! Those little blades of grass could never support his weight."
"How tragic! If he dies falling down, all his vast fortune will be left behind, unenjoyed."
"What will happen to his elderly mother and wife?"
The hunter in the pit could bear it no longer. He opened his mouth and shouted, "All of you, just shut up!"
The moment he opened his mouth, he lost his grip on the grass and fell back down into the pit. As he lay at the bottom, on the verge of death, he heard the people at the top say in unison: "See? I told you it's absolutely impossible to climb a pit using only your mouth!"
Moral of the Story:
When facing difficulties and challenges yourself, do not pay attention to others' criticisms—instead, climb forward with strong determination. When others face setbacks and hardships, do not rush to judge or comment; put yourself in their shoes and learn from their courage in adversity.
